Located halfway up the village (and the only restaurant not in the main village square area) La Maroma is the perfect choice for anyone needing a gluten free diet. A lot of the food on the menu is gluten free. If you visit here to eat just say “Sin Gluten” and your needs will be met. Excellent tapas and good fresh salads, well worth a visit.
This bar is run by keen supporters of bullfighting and the Grazalema tradition of running the bulls through the streets called “Lunes de Toro de Cuerda”. the bull is on a long rope of a hundred metres or so and the part tied to the horns is called the “Maroma”, hence the name of the restaurant. Inside the walls are adorned with photos of previous bull running and there are tables outside with shade.
